A Tournament Trip to South Carolina

If all goes well, I'm going to have some really interesting adventures down south! I'll be heading with my family to South Carolina, where there are two ITF tournaments to compete in. This is going to be a very exciting time, because I haven't played ITF (International Tennis Federation) tournaments in a couple of years. I'd love to try again and compete against the pros! I know it will be challenging, but I like to challenge myself, and I hope the work I've put in during local tournaments will help me on the ITF tour.

When I come back from the tournaments, I'll write about my experiences and share with you how I fared in the matches! I hope you enjoy hearing how it all turned out. I'm really excited, and I can't wait to see what happens!

One of my inspirations for competing in the tennis world, even after you've taken a break from the sport for a while, is Elena from Tennis Rematch. She has an awesome YouTube channel that documents her tennis journey, and how she's returning to the sport after she gave up tennis for a while. When I see her videos, especially when she's doing well in tournaments, it really inspires me to keep trying and not feel I'm too old or "too late" to play. She's in her late twenties, but she still goes out to the court and gives it her all!

I just turned 26, so I'm looking forward to heading out to these tournaments while I'm able to do it. I know I won't always have the time to do this, so it's best for me to compete and play while I can!

I try to appreciate the moments I have and enjoy the experience. It can be easy to take these opportunities for granted, but I know how hard it is to reach any professional level of tennis, so I'm grateful for the chance to play even a few ITF tournaments this year.

Thanks for reading, and I'll see you soon!
